Our Aboriginal Indigenous and Afrikan centered publishing & communication venture/community service: Ujima Press Real Communication (UPRC), is an independent, non-profit, international family affair founded in December 1999. Inspiration, freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of peace and happiness are reflected in our talented group and affiliates.

Ujima in Swahili means collective work and responsibility. Our editors, typesetters, proofreaders, other staff members; musicians, authors, poets, spoken word artists, and writers all work in a collective effort to produce the best possible product. Ujima Press Real Communication prides itself on publishing a product that is original, imaginative, enjoyable, interesting, worthwhile, captivating, and more. Ujima Press Real Communication produces fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and children's literature.
