Founders

Otu Kwaku, co-founder and chief editor  is  noted for his easy going and calm manner. He has over forty years as a proficient and much loved educator. Baba Otu's passion for the Black literature, the written word, and art show through his own seasoned poetry, prose and classes he teaches. His years of experience and knowledge come shing through  especially when he facilitates Ujima Press RC's Soulful Writing workshop, held annually.  Baba Otu a minister of the International Society of indigneous Sovereigns is also a published author, father, grandfather and founder of  Hippos Books And Things  www.HipposBooksAndThings.com and Liberated MindZ Publishers www.LiberatedMindZ.com

Dr. Akosua Ali-Sabree, affectionately called MaMa Akosua is the director of the Amadi Wellness Connection (AWC)www.bewellrelax.com and founder of the Amadi Universal Light Mission (AULM) and Ujima Press RC. MaMa Akosua, a minister of the International Society of Indigenous Sovereigns is also a talk radio producer and host on the Harambee Radio Network www.harambeeradio.com and program director of the Annual International Locks Conference: Natural Hair, Wholistic Health & Beauty Expo www.locksconference.com.
